Fuel Surcharge
The fuel surcharge for the forth quarter of 2026 is 14%.
The calculation is based on the fuel price index of the Federal Statistical Office, available at:

Energysurcharge
For the third quarter of 2026, billing will be carried out in accordance with level 7 of our rail energy floater system.
The values are in EUR per TEU and transport direction. The calculation is based on the average index value for the months of May to July 2026.

Infrastructure surcharge
The infrastructure surcharge will be invoiced at EUR 42.00 per TEU and transport direction starting October 1st, 2026 and beyond.
Due to ongoing and increasingly severe infrastructure challenges—particularly on the DB InfraGO network and in the vicinity of seaports—the current surcharge is no longer sufficient to offset the resulting additional costs.
An adjustment to the infrastructure surcharge is therefore long overdue and unavoidable.
