Intermodal marketing company EUROKOMBI is founded by EUROKAI, forming the basis of today’s EGIM.
EUROKOMBI pioneers the private railway business by launching the first private Hamburg-Munich-Bremerhaven/Hamburg container block train.
EUROGATE is founded through the merger of EUROKAI (Hamburg) and the BLG Logistics Group (Bremen), establishing Germany’s largest private container terminal group.
EUROGATE Intermodal (EGIM) is established as a subsidiary of EUROGATE Group, merging the intermodal solutions from EUROKAI and BLG.
EGIM becomes a founding member of the private rail service company boxXpress.de, connecting German seaports to the German hinterland with regular, direct services.
The boxXpress network goes international: boxXpress.hu regularly connects the BILK combi terminal in Budapest with Hamburg and Bremerhaven.
EGIM acquires a minority share in the Hungarian rail service company Floyd Zrt. in 2008 and later becomes the majority shareholder in 2013.

EGIM introduces railMybox, a comprehensive digital platform for booking and managing intermodal transport. With this offering, EGIM digitises intermodal container bookings for the first time.
With the foundation of driveMybox logistics on 1 November 2023, EGIM takes over the entire driveMybox operations in Germany.
