We would like to inform you about the latest developments regarding the infrastructure surcharge for the month of August 2025.
Since March, we have been providing regular and transparent updates on network developments via our newsletter “Current Situation in Rail Operations.” Unfortunately, over the past few months, the strain on both the rail network and seaports has continued to intensify. Increasing handling bottlenecks are having a noticeable impact on the entire intermodal transport chain.
Against this backdrop, we will be adjusting the infrastructure surcharge to EUR 28.00 per TEU and transport direction, effective 1 August 2025.
The surcharge will continue to be reviewed on a monthly basis.
As usual, we will inform you of the value for September 2025 at the end of July.
