The previously announced strikes have just been confirmed. The service sector union ver.di has now called on its members to participate in warning strikes at the German seaport terminals in Hamburg (EUROGATE, HHLA CTA und Burchardkai), Bremerhaven (CTB und NTB) und Wilhelmshaven EUROGATE from 10:00 p.m. on August 17, 2026, to 10:00 p.m. on August 18, 2026.

There is currently growing evidence that the ver.di service workers’ union is calling for warning strikes at German seaports.
According to the latest information, the seaport terminals in Hamburg and Bremerhaven are expected to be affected by strikes from 6:00 a.m. on August 18, 2026, until 6:00 a.m. on August 19, 2026.
At the EUROGATE Terminal in Wilhelmshaven, a warning strike has just been called for from 10:00 p.m. on August 17, 2026, to 10:00 p.m. on August 18, 2026.
Unfortunately, the exact impact cannot yet be predicted. However, we must expect significant delays and even cancellations. This applies to both our rail and truck services.
With regard to deadlines, please refer to our General Terms and Conditions. Delivery deadlines or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed. These presuppose unhindered transport conditions on rail and road.
