Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
as a matter of routine, we would like to provide you with an overview of current and upcoming events within our rail operations. This includes information from the area of the network operator as well as information from the environment of the connected seaport terminals.
- Construction work between Stuttgart and Ulm was scheduled to be completed this morning. However, the work was not finished on time, so the line closure has been extended until 23:59 on October 21, 2025.
- The closure of the route between Würzburg -> Treuchtlingen -> Donauwörth -> Augsburg due to construction work will nevertheless take place as planned today, October 17, 2025, at 9:00 p.m.
- This means that we will not have access to the DUSS Ulm terminal.
As a result, eight of our round trips will have to be canceled until 11:59 p.m. on October 21, 2025, due to the closures. - Three of our trains loaded at the seaport today are already on their way to Ulm. Attempts are being made to divert them to Kornwestheim. Final information on this is not expected until the weekend.
- Please note that no containers loaded or scheduled to be loaded today or over the weekend at the seaport of Hamburg and/or Bremerhaven can be picked up in Ulm on Monday. Please plan the corresponding truck deployments so that no empty runs are made.
- Accordingly, from today, October 17, 2025, 9:00 p.m. until October 21, 2025, inclusive, there will be no export departures from or import departures to Ulm.
- As a result, booked export containers may be shipped via the DUSS Terminal Kornwestheim at a charge. Any changes to your booking will be made after you have placed an express order.
Due to the circumstances, delays continue to occur at the seaport and inland terminals. These delays have a significant impact on the stability and punctuality of our network. We are making daily efforts to minimize the impact on your bookings as much as possible. Our scheduling department will continue to inform you of any affected bookings on a case-by-case basis. In order to avoid incorrect tours, please check the availability of the loading units before acceptance inland or at the seaport and take our advice notes and order-related information into account.
With regard to deadlines, please refer to our General Terms and Conditions https://www.egim.eu/agb/ Delivery deadlines or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed. These presuppose unhindered transport conditions on rail and road.
