Dear Ladies and Gentlemen
As a matter of routine, we would like to provide you with an overview of current and upcoming events within our rail operations. This includes information from the area of the network operator as well as information from the environment of the connected seaport terminals.
- Construction site between Sagehorn and Bremen-Oberneuland from September 19, 2025, to September 25, 2025, maximum speed in the construction zone 20 km/h
- Yesterday evening from approx. 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., people on the tracks in Wunstorf and Poggenhagen, resulting in slow travel on sight.
- Yesterday evening, several hours of overhead line disruption between Wunstorf and Poggenhagen, passing the disruption only on one track on the opposite line.
- Signal system malfunction on September 23, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to approximately 6:00 p.m. near Gütersglück, no train service possible.
- Already during the night from September 22, 2025, to September 23, 2025, overhead line malfunction between Achim and Etelsen lasting several hours
- From 10:00 p.m. on September 21, 2025, to 4:30 a.m. on September 23, 2025, there was an overhead line fault between Uelzen and Bad Bevensen, making the area impassable and requiring a diversion.
- The disruptions between September 22, 2025, and September 23, 2025, already led to massive delays in our network. Bremerhaven was particularly affected. These delays were compensated for to a certain extent. Now, the new disruptions have led to further severe delays for trains in the network.
- As a result, export trains are already being refused departure from the south terminal, and other trains have to be parked on the tracks. The resulting delays cannot be compensated for, and unfortunately some trains will have to be canceled.
Due to the circumstances, delays continue to occur at the seaport and inland terminals. These delays have a significant impact on the stability and punctuality of our network. We are making daily efforts to minimize the impact on your bookings as much as possible. Our scheduling department will continue to inform you of any affected bookings on a case-by-case basis. In order to avoid incorrect tours, please check the availability of the loading units before acceptance inland or at the seaport and take our advice notes and order-related information into account.
- The following closures are included in our public holiday schedule for German Unity Day: Replacement construction of the Finkenwerder Bridge October 3, 2025 – October 6, 2025, as well as construction work between Bremen and Bremerhaven from October 2, 2025, 7:00 a.m. to October 6, 2025, 8:00 a.m.
- Construction work between Nuremberg, Regensburg, and Passau from February 6, 2025, to December 15, 2026. During this period, there will be various diversions with different effects. Trains will only be able to run with 20 carriages on the diversion via Salzburg and with 18 waggons on the diversion via Plattling/Landshut.
For the area of seaport terminals, we would like to point out that your cooperation as a potential terminal customer is also urgently desired.
