This includes information from the area of the network operator as well as information from the environment of the connected seaport terminals.

Dispositive inflow control in Hamburg has remained in effect without change since March 10, 2026. Trains are sometimes denied entry into the Hamburg rail network.

Dispositive inflow control in Bremerhaven has remained in effect without change since May 10, 2026. Trains are sometimes denied entry into the Bremerhaven rail network.

The second phase of the Fulda construction project began on July 11, 2026, and is scheduled to last until July 30, 2026. We have received some special train paths with extensive detours, but we are still awaiting a large number of responses from InfraGo.

Closure of the right-hand track on the Rhinepassing from July 10 to September 11, 2026

The comprehensive renovation between Nuremberg and Regensburg has been extended from July 10 to July 31, 2026.

Other incidents in the last 24 hours:

A train derailment has occurred in Nidderau, causing extensive damage to the infrastructure. The affected section of track is not expected to be passable until the end of next week. The only possible detour is through the Frankfurt area, which is already heavily congested. This is leading to longer travel times and traffic backups.

There has been damage to a locomotive in Freden. Regular train service has been suspended there. Significant delays are to be expected.

Since July 16, 2026, at 3:16 p.m., there has been a service disruption between Bremen-Burg and the Bremen marshalling yard. The disruption was resolved last night, but delays are still expected due to backlogs.

Track disruption between Sorsum and Ritterkamp (Hanover region) since July 16, 2026, at 12:10 p.m. The disruption was resolved on July 16, 2026, at 5:06 p.m. Here, too, travel times may still be extended due to backlogs.

Regulatory measure in Frankfurt West on July 16, 2026, at 7:05 p.m. Trains were held up, which is why delays are also occurring here.

Short-term construction work between Lübberstedt and Osterholz-Scharm on July 17, 2026, from 5:10 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. This also resulted in longer travel times.

There is damage to the overhead lines on the route between Linz and Vienna. As a result, ÖBB is holding back trains.

Due to bridge construction work, the route between Wulsdorf and Bremerhaven will be completely closed from July 17, 2026, to July 20, 2026, daily from 00:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. The resulting traffic congestion will have consequences that go beyond simply placing an additional burden on rail transport.

We must expressly point out that any event occurring in addition to the known construction work will lead to significant delays.
The planned detour routes are completely overloaded and are now, for example, unavailable for large portions of traffic due to the Nidderau derailment (Main-Weser Railway).
During nighttime operations, rail traffic has now come to a complete standstill for a week.
There is a severe shortage of rolling stock—locomotives and cars—as well as train crews at every end!

Trains are arriving at their destination terminals with significant delays!

At the domestic terminals, this generally means processing on the next day—a delay of 24 hours.

At seaports, slots are not being met; special slots, let alone handling of excess volumes, are being rejected by the terminals.

This situation will inevitably lead to train cancellations, which will affect the entire network!

Due to the circumstances, delays continue to occur at the seaport and inland terminals. These delays have a significant impact on the stability and punctuality of our network. We are making daily efforts to minimize the impact on your bookings as much as possible. Our scheduling department will continue to inform you of any affected bookings on a case-by-case basis. In order to avoid incorrect tours, please check the availability of the loading units before acceptance inland or at the seaport and take our advice notes and order-related information into account.

Long-term construction work between Nuremberg – Regensburg – Passau from February 6, 2026 to December 15, 2026. Further restrictions cannot yet be fully predicted. We will inform you separately about these. This mainly affects our services to Hungary.

For the area of seaport terminals, we would like to point out that your cooperation as a potential terminal customer is also urgently desired.

With regard to deadlines, please refer to our General Terms and Conditions.
